O Gannon-baum

After playing a game for 40 hours, this is all I see. Now you understand.

Wait....what...what is that? LIGHT? Is that...the triforce?! NO. It's the sun! I...I had forgotten what it looks like.
Now that I am finally not holed up in my dark room playing Zelda, as I have BEATEN it, I make it just in time to start frantically thinking about Christmas. I hate my procrastinating nature. Damn me.
I am working on getting my own personal site up, but we'll see how that'll pan out. I've been doing some flash stuff, too, so I'm hella excited to do that stuff. I made my first cartoon, which, when I have my site up in a few weeks (by the new year at least, when I get a domain name), and I'm very excited. Next up, live action stuff for next semester. I'm so excited to be doing creative stuff, finally. Maybe I will acheieve my dreams after all.
Speaking of, what has been going on in the world for the last 20 days?

Alright. Here's my full review of

THE LEGEND OF ZLEDA: TWILIGHT PRINCESS

I hate to compare this to Ocarina of Time, but this begs to be compared to it. From the very beginning, it feels like the exact same formula that made OoT so g-d amazing. However, it drags this begininng formula out. Needless to say, the beginning of the game is my least favorite, especially due to the Twilight areas of the game. It's half OoT (dungeons, finding items you need to access the dungeon) and half a f***ing collection game. And Nintendo, collection is not cool anymore.
This aside, the second half is where the story REALLY comes together as a new Zelda game. I give huge props to the dungeon design crew, cause that shiznit is hella tight. And the boss battles. Oh god, they're awesome. A few of them are reminiscent of Shadow of the Colossus. The underwater temple boss, so freaky, and so awesome. And the boss battle with the (supposed) main bad guy is so fun.
However (and as everyone knows, so this isn't spoiling anything), this game's main bad guy is Ganon. And Ganon...well...is Ganon. The end sort of loses me. It's exciting, but I wish it was more. It started to pull me in after his 3rd form, but, well, they lost me, and then the end is so ambigiously weird, I'm not sure what to think of it.
Seriously, though, you have to have this game. It's a Zelda game, and it's new and awesome. Whether you get it on the Wii or GameCube, however, is up to you. There was one point I wish I would have had the GameCube version, though, as your swings demand timing. This game is long, but like every other Zelda game, I can bet you I'll be coming back to play this again.
YOU MUST BUY THIS GAME!
