Better Nate Than Lever

Grah. I hate myself for not updating for so long. But with school starting and several other things coming up, I've been very distracted.
I promise for no more delays on updates. I am certainly NOT another Duke Nukem Forever.
In all seriousness, though, I'm very excited about an upcoming project I'm working on for school.
I am working on a short film about....wait for it.....the college life of Aquaman!
Super neato wowee, right?!

The tragic thing is that I'm addicted to my videogames and can't find myself doing much work, ever. Especially with the ever addictive WarioWare:Smooth Moves for the Wii.

WarioWare: Smooth Moves

Wario is one of my favorite characters in the Mario franchise. I can remember the first time I saw him appear in Super Mario Land 2 for the GB, and then seal his stay in Nintendo in Wario Land (Super Mario Land 3). I was 10 and had just got back from baseball practice on my birthday. I was so excited when I got it from my mom, and then a second copy from my grandma, that I could have kept both the copies. And here we are, 11 years later, with WarioWare: Smooth Moves.

WW:SM takes from it's handheld predecessors as a collection of minigames. With a twist. You have to do a series of them in a row, and each one lasts about 3 seconds, with a short 1 or 2 words on how to do the minigame. It may not sound like much, but as the game gets faster, you really feel the strain.
And by strain I mean friggin fantastic fun.
This incarnation is just as fast and as much of a frenzy as the other games, but this time in addition to feeling your brain sweat from trying to discern what to do in the minigame, you also start to feel the sweat pour down your face as you move around so much. And this is awesome. The WiiSports experiment holds NOTHING to this game. I've never moved around so much playing a videogame. And this game makes you MOVE. It truly utilizes so many things you can simulate with the WiiMote. Which includes balancing a broom, gliding with a leaf, and answering a phone.
Sounds exciting, no?
WELL IT MOTHER F*@#ING IS!
The only disappointing thing is that they didn't put more games on it, and the lack of multiplayer. They included as many games as are on the handhelds, but it just feels like I want more and more, damnit.
But if you don't pick up this game, you'll be missing out on something so insanely, blindingly fun for your Wii, that might as well chop your Wii in half.
Oh yes, I went there.
