Special Face of the Week!

Reading as many books as I do, I can't help but notice that sometimes, no matter how good the artist is, there are some characters who look just a little...special.

So after all this time, I've amassed a collection of snapshots from different books where beloved characters look like they should maybe have a telethon run for their benefit. And thusly do I begin sharing these with you:

Here, we have Steve Rogers from NEW AVENGERS vol. 1 #3, sporting a look that's a little TOO down home American. In addition to his shield, David Finch must be thinking that Steve Rogers would be even safer with a helmet. Truly this is a Captain America that would be on the level with Bush.
